Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams break up

MANILA, Philippines – After 6 years of marriage, singers Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams called it quits. 

Via E! Online, a rep for the couple said, “Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost 6 years. It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time.”

News of their split comes not long after Mandy announced that she was collaborating on new music with her husband. 

Mandy and Ryan tied the knot on March 10, 2009 in Georgia. They do not have any children.

Mandy Moore rose to success in the late 90s to early 2000s with singles like “Cry,” “Only Hope,” “Candy,” and many more. She also starred in films A Walk To Remember, How to Deal, and License to Wed. She also voiced Rapunzel in Tangled.

Singer Ryan Adams played with groups Whiskeytown and The Cardinals, and also embarked on a solo career. Here’s a video of him performing hit song “Gimme Something Good” on Letterman.
