Hilary Duff files for divorce from Mike Comrie – report

MANILA, Philippines – Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie are ‘So Yesterday.’ Singer and actress Hilary Duff reportedly filed for divorce from her estranged husband Mike Comrie, according to TMZ.com.

The same report says Hilary also hired attorney Laura Wasser, and the reason for her split with Mike was due to irreconcilable differences. She is also currently seeking primary physical custody of son Luca. 

Hilary and hockey player Mike tied the knot in August 2010.

Singer Hilary was best known for playing titular character Lizzie in the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire. The series also had a film of its own, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, which featured Lizzie and her friends’ adventures in Rome.

Her previous singles include “So Yesterday,” “What Dreams Are Made Of,” “Sweet Sixteen,” among others. She also has a film career under her belt, starring in films like Raise Your Voice, A Cinderella Story with Chad Michael Murray, to name a few. – Rappler.com
