Daniel Padilla nominated in 2015 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards
MANILA, Philippines – Teen actor Daniel Padilla has been nominated in this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
According to the Nickelodeon website, Daniel, star of the upcoming Crazy Beautiful You is up for Favorite Asian Act. Daniel is competing for the award against Indonesia’s JKT48, Malaysia’s Jinny Boy, and Singapore’s Tosh Zhang.
Winners will be determined by online voting that will close on March 28.
The Nickelodeon Choice Awards which will be held in the Forum in Inglewood, California on March 28 is hosted by Nick Jonas. The show will be aired on March 30 in Asia.
Previous Favorite Asian Act nominees were Sarah Geronimo who was nominated in 2013 and Charice, who won in 2012.
The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards is now on its 26th year. The event brings together big-name celebrities in the US for a fun-filled show where winners are determined by Nickelodeon viewers. – Rappler.com
