WATCH: ‘American Idol’ contestant wears The Dress during performance

MANILA, Philippines – American Idol contestant Jax joined in on the #TheDress craze when she wore the controversial dress that broke the Internet a couple of days back. 

Eighteen-year old Jax performed “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” during the March 5 episode of the show. Watch below:

After her performance, host Ryan Seacrest asked the golden (pardon the pun) question, “Is this the dress that broke the internet?” 

Jax laughed, then replied with, “Is it white and gold?”  

Ryan then replied, “I see blue and black,” and the crowd cheered right after. 

He later tweeted the photo of Jax, saying:

On February 27, Tumblr user swiked uploaded a photo of a dress asking followers on the website to determine whether the colors on the dress are blue and black or white and gold. The post spread like wildfire, with social media users divided between the two sets of colors. Celebrities like Mindy Kaling, BJ Novak, and Best Actress winner Julianne Moore also joined in on the fun. – Rappler.com
