Paulo Avelino confirms relationship, breakup with KC Concepcion

MANILA, Philippines – Paulo Avelino confirmed that he was in a relationship with KC Concepcion, but that it didn’t work out between them. (READ: Paulo Avelino on KC Concepcion: ‘It’s not over’)

In an interview on The Buzz Sunday, March 15, Paulo initially tried to evade the question.

“KC and I are friends and I’ll always be there for her whenever she needs me,” he said.

“She’s single, she’s beautiful. We have different priorities.”

But he finally answered “yes” when Kris Aquino told him to answer “yes” or “no.” 

However, Paulo did not give any other details about the break-up.

It was earlier reported that he and KC broke up, but according to Paulo in one of his interviews “hindi naman siguro nagbi-break ang magkaibigan.” (I do not think there’s breaking up between friends.) 

He also clarified the news that he and Jasmine Curtis-Smith were dating, after a photo of them together surfaced online.

“Jasmine and I are friends. And we have a film coming out with Isabelle Daza and I just casually have dinner with friends or co-workers,” he said.

Paulo will be seen next the drama Bridges of Love starring Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales. The show premieres on Monday, March 16. –Rappler.com
