On her Facebook page, Amalia called out Albert for allowing his two eldest children to disrespect her.

Here is Amalia’s full post:

“Are you wondering why Albert is so quiet about the disrespect of his two elder children to their Lola? His handlers have decided to make him out to be a long suffering loving husband to preserve the carefully crafted image he wanted the public to see!

“Too late, you can’t fool the public, kaya no endorsements for them like Zoren and Carmina! If you are a good father you will not allow this and I suspect you put her up to his hoping I will not react to her tirades!

“But I won’t be stopped! Unlike you who are so conscious of your image to preserve your movie career, I can’t be stopped now. I stepped aside for the sake of my daughter as she is really your lucky star! Two weeks before her death, I gave her two million pesos that I know she didn’t tell you! Two days before her death gusto mo pa akong hingan ng (you wanted to ask me for) 5 million then 10 million!

“We had [an] unpleasant exchange where I told you the money is mine and Liezl’s only. He was so sarcastic and told me to get a butler, valet etc! I told him I have never told him how to spend his money nor should he to me! He was always after my money! Three days before he arrived from the USA,  Liezl’s dad asked me for 1.2 million that he said Albert asked him to ask from me!

“He called me twice from the USA for the same reason in a text message that I still have in my cellphone! I have instructed my lawyers to make a formal demand for the two million I gave Liezl two weeks before her death when she was already bedridden! Since I’m not immediate family it’s but fitting that the money be returned to me. Surely with your  ‘success,’ you don’t need my money nor your children who belong to your clan!”

Amalia also wrote about how hurt she was that she and her ex-husband Romeo Vasquez were not event mentioned during the funeral.

“The declaration of the crematory that they were under orders by the immediate family to exclude the mom and dad of Liezl proves that there’s the unseen hand orchestrating our exclusion from Liezl’s life up to the very end of her earthly life! Who’s this? Are the parents not immediate family? The only good bloodline in my apos life came from the MUHLACHs.” (Amalia’s brother is the father of popular actor Aga Muhlach.)

She also did not hold back, giving a message to actress Coney Reyes, who hosted the cremation.

“Message to CONEY REYES! You are a heartless b who added more pain humiliation to a grieving mother who lost her only child! As a mom yourself you know what it takes to raise a child alone. The difficult task of molding her into the person she has become should be acknowledged!

“When you stood there you should verify the info given to you by the person with a written evidence! That’s a responsibility by anyone who speaks in a public forum. Is this too much to expect? If you believe in God then you must know the pain you inflicted on me must find disfavor in his eyes! I can only pray that someday you will learn n be enlightened as to the true meaning of Christian heart! I want you to know you broke my heart by your callousness!”

Around the time of the cremation of Liezl, Amalia did not hold back her anger, saying she was left out fully in participating in the funeral arrangements of her daughter. She also said that she’s kept her distance from the family over the years.

While Albert remained silent over the matter and only posted photos of how much he missed his wife, after the cremation, daughter Alyanna posted on Instagram a message that many social media users felt was possibly directed at her grandmother. The photo featured these words: “Don’t waste words on people who deserve your silence. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all.” – Rappler.com
