Confirmed: Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes expecting first child
MANILA, Philippines – Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are going to be parents! Marian is pregnant with their first child, confirmed Dingdong Dantes in a text message to Rappler.
Dingdong thanked fans and friends for all their support and prayers.
After the announcement, Dingdong posted on Instagram a photo of him and Marian during their wedding.
"We are extremely grateful because the greatest gift called life has already been bestowed upon us by God. In behalf of my wife, and our coming baby, we thank all those who prayed for, and with us. Faith really has its way of fulfilling lifelong dreams. #ParentsInTheMaking," Dingdong wrote.
In an interview aired on GMA 7's 24 Oras Monday, April 13, Dingdong said the pregnancy was planned.
(That is also one of the reasons why we decided to get married – to really build a family. And we know that having a child is one of the most important for a family. Even before, we've prayed for it, that it will be given to us at the right time.)
Dingdong also appealed to the public to given him and Marian privacy regarding the other details of her pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Marian shared that she has been craving for candies.
(The other day, I was looking for White Rabbit, the white candy. And then the other day, Haw Haw, also white candy. It's all white I am looking for and I don't know why. And I don't like strong scents, I get dizzy.)
On Instagram, Marian shared her sentiments about becoming a mother.
(The greatest blessing has finally been given to us – my dream of becoming a mother. I cannot wait to see and hug our little angel. Thank you God for the big blessing you gave. There is not enough happiness and thanks. And to those who love and prayed for this blessing, Thank you so much.)
Marian and Dingdong married last December 30 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cubao.
