Divine Lee and Victor Basa are on a break

MANILA, Philippines – TV host Divine Lee and model-actor Victor Basa confirmed that they have decided to take a break from their relationship.

According to a report from Pep,  Divine and Victor were both spotted at the Saucony launch Wednesday, April 15 but entered separately.  

Social media followers of the two have been wondering about why they have not been posting photos of each other in their social media accounts. On Tuesday, April 14, Victor was spotted mingling solo with friends and colleagues at the Axe Black party.

On her Instagram account, Divine explained that she and Victor are exploring other things for now.

“I’ve been answering over and over, di bale. I-blog ko nalang para isahan na. Haha! I honestly appreciate your concern but I can’t help but be honest. (I’ll blog about it so it’s all in one go.)

“Pero wala naman talaga kami masasagot as of now because we are trying to grow and figure out things kaya nga parati mga friends namin kasama namin. Trying out new things.  

(But we have nothing to say as of now because we are trying to grow and figure out things that’s why we are with our friends.)

“I guess, we made ourselves an island. So it’s about time to grow again with other people, friends and do new things, so we have more to add to our relationships. 

“All relationships go through a stage like this I guess, d ba? Don’t worry matatag naman (strong) foundation namin as friends. We’ve been friends since kids!,” she wrote.

At the Saucony event, Victor confirmed the news to Pep but refused to elaborate on the reason for the split. 

“There is some truth to that. That’s all I have to say.”

“But, you know, I care for her and she’ll always be very special to me,” Victor said. 

In a separate interview, Divine said: “Okay pa naman kami, we talk.

“I guess, I mean, all couples naman go through challenges, ‘di ba?

 “I hope we come out better and stronger people,” Divine said.– Rappler.com
