All’s well between Vicki Belo, Hayden Kho, and Katrina Halili

MANILA, Philippines – It seems that all’s well between actress Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho.

On Instagram, Dr. Vicki Belo, Hayden’s partner posted a photo of them together with talent manager Lolit Solis, seeming to signal the end of their rift. 

“This picture was taken 10 days ago. I always believe in forgiving but I have to admit that it’s not easy. But, if God can forgive us for all our sins who are we not to do the same. Being bitter and unforgiving enslaves you and not the other person. To God be all the glory,” Vicki wrote. 

This report from ABS-CBN also reports that columnist Ricky Lo said that the parties met over lunch and patched things up. 

Hayden also spoke up on the reconciliation on Instagram, in a post posted on May 1.

He said:

“I had wanted to wait for the proper time to announce this reconciliation that happened last week; but since it’s already out I might as well say my piece too.

“After seven years of enmity, Katrina, Vicki, and myself are now reconciled. And I want to say that just like the restoration of my medical license, the restoration of my relationship with Vicki, Katrina, and many others happened because I first sought to restore my relationship with God.

“It was by God’s grace- made available through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ- that I have been restored. And I want to emphasize that when the Bible says, “Seek first His kingdom and all THESE things shall be added to you (Matt6:33)”, we are given a principle that can be tested and proven to be true over and over again. 

All glory to God Who alone deserves it,” he wrote.

Last January, it was reported that Vicki and Katrina greeted each other at the Dingdong Dantes-Marian River wedding. Hayden at that time said he also wanted closure between him and Katrina.

“Sana magkaroon kami ng pagkakataon na maisarado na yung isyu na ‘to between the two of us,” he said. 

(“I wish we could have a chance to close this issue between the two of us.”)

Katrina and Hayden were subject of a sex video scandal in 2009 that went viral and was even the subject of a Senate investigation. The incident led to the revoking of Hayden’s medical license and breakup with Vicki. (READ:Hayden reacts to PRC decision on his license, Katrina moves on)

In 2014, The Board of Medicine, under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), reinstated Hayden’s medical license.

In an interview on The Bottomline last year, Hayden admitted it took a long time to forgive himself over the scandal.

“It was a tough one. It was really hard to forgive myself. In fact, it was even hard to love myself ’cause I know that I have done so many things in the past that na ayoko malaman ng tao, na kinahihiya ko dahil mali (I did not want people to know because it was embarrassing, because it was wrong),” he said. – Rappler.com
