Anne Curtis on her new mobile game ‘Anne Galing,’ comparisons to Kim Kardashian’s app

MANILA, Philippines – If you’ve ever wanted to play stylist for Anne Curtis, here’s your chance. Anne Curtis launched a new app called Anne Galing on Tuesday, July 14, where players get to be personal shoppers and stylists for a virtual Anne. Anne Galing, available on now on Android, is also a Match 3 game, where combinations of three tiles must be matched to win. Other Match 3 games include Bejewelled, Tetris and Candy Crush Saga. 

In Anne Galing, players have to match as many jewel combinations as they can within the 60-second time limit.

The clothes in the game were designed to be similar to Anne’s current wardrobe. She personally oversaw the creation of the game, making sure that each item of clothing looked like the original. 

Aside from dressing Anne, players can also hear her speak and give comments as they play. 

Anne Galing is said to be the first celebrity mobile game in the Philippines. “First siya sa atin, yung celebrity game. So nakakatuwa na meron na tayo,” commented Anne.

During the launch of the game, Anne acknowledged that the game was similar to the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game, where players are virtual celebrities trying to make it big. 

“Pero yun yung thing,” Anne said. “We were inspired by Kim Kardashian[: Hollywood] but the thing is, when you look at the game, hindi naman siya same like Kim, its a Match 3 game.”

Anne Galing is the first project of the new mobile games company, Xeleb, Incorporated.
