MANILA, Philippines – Kylie Verzosa may not have won Miss Universe Philippines at the Binibining Pilipinas 2016 coronation night, but she was one of the crowd favorites at the Araneta Coliseum Sunday, April 17.
Kylie topped an independent and unofficial Rappler poll with 45.34% of the votes.
Rappler readers who opted to vote on the online poll were asked who should win the pageant’s top prize, the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2015.
The poll was launched after the announcement of the top 15 at coronation night, and closed shortly after the winners were announced. It has no bearing on the actual results of the competition.

Kylie did win a crown that night, however, taking home the title of Bb Pilipinas International 2016.
She will move on to compete in the Miss International pageant later this year.
