Model Ashley Graham to be ‘backstage host’ at Miss Universe pageant

MANILA, Philippines – Model Ashley Graham will be the backstage host at the Miss Universe pageant to be held in Manila on January 30.

The announcement was made by the pageant on their social media accounts.

“We’re excited to announce [Ashley Graham] as our Backstage Host at the #MissUniverse Competition!”

Ashley expressed her joy about the news, posting on Twitter: “Excited to join @IAmSteveHarvey at #MissUniverse as Backstage Host. Tune in to @FoxTV 1/29 to watch!”

Fox TV will broadcast the show in the US.

One of today’s top models, Ashley has also modeled for the brand Lane Bryant, wherein she was featured in two of its campaigns – #ImNoAngel and #PlusIsEqual.

She has also appeared in a number of magazine covers including Elle, Vogue, Glamour, and Harper’s Bazaar to name a few.

I'm proud to be part of one of the most diverse seasons of ANTM, and I truly hope that me being on the judging panel inspires and encourages more people of every size and shape to audition for the show and to pursue all of their passions without feeling held back because of their size.
