Anonymous prepared downloadable care packages in Arabic and English that people in Gaza can download and share with others. As RT.com writes, the care package, now in its 2.0 incarnation, comes with information on maintaining connectivity to the Internet in the case of a telecommunications cut-off, a first-aid guide, and additional documents and programs that may be of use.
The hacktivist group also has a page that updates readers with the status of telecommunications and casualties in Gaza.
Anonymous has also worked on hacking and defacing over 600 websites of the Israeli government. They have also released the names and contact information of more than 3000 people donating to Israel.

According to a statement from Anonymous, “conservative and pro-Israeli groups throughout the blogosphere have taken advantage of Operation Israel, attempting to solidify public opinion against Anonymous.”
The hacktivists countered by stating their intentions. “Our goal was to protect the rights of Palestinian people who are threatened with silence,” notes Anonymous’ press release. “We know what happens to victims of oppression when the lights go dark.”
In relation to their attempts to translate their care package to help citizens of Gaza, the press release adds, “We do not racially or geographically differentiate between victims of violence or oppression anywhere in the world.” – Rappler.com
