MANILA, Philippines – Miss Earth 2017 formally kicked off on Monday, October 9, with a welcome dinner at Carousel Productions in Mandaluyong City.
The candidates took time to mingle with the guests and media present at the event. Actor Steven Seagal came to the party with former Ilocos Sur governor Luis “Chavit” Singson.
The candidates, divided into 3 groups, will be touring various parts of the Philippines including Ilocos Norte, Isabela, and Boracay. In between their tours, their respective group competitions will take place as well as activities dedicated to the environment.
The finals night of the Miss Earth pageant will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on November 4.
