MANILA, Philippines – In line with the Miss Philippines Earth 2013 pageant’s water conservation theme, this 20-year-old Broadcast Communication student says, “Time will come that there may be no clean water to drink so we should start cooperating to promote the preservation of our remaining clean water supply.”

Describe your childhood/growing-up years (8-13 years old):

I studied in a public school from elementary to high school. When I was in second year high school, I went with my father, a jeepney driver, in his trips. I helped him as a “conductor.” This is how I earned my allowance. I never dreamed of becoming a model but I did.

Most memorable moment:

It was such a memorable moment for me to be hailed as Miss Marikina first runner-up.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?

Continuous implementation of the Adopt-an-Estero Program. This program is feasible and has been done in many communities.
