MANILA, Philippines – Henri Lamiraux, Apple’s Vice President of iOS Software Engineering, has left the company after 23 years of engineering contributions.
9to5 Mac points to his LinkedIn profile for corroboration. The Next Web’s report also cites Lamiraux’s Facebook page as supporting the departure.

In an email to 9to5 Mac, Lamiraux said he retired a few weeks ago after the release of the iPhone’s iOS 7.0.3.
9to5 Mac adds that Lamiraux worked his way to reach top positions at Apple, starting as a Mac software engineer, then eventually becoming director of software engineering for iOS and senior director of engineering for iOS before becoming Vice President of iOS software engineering.
Lamiraux’s body of work includes development on the iOS for the first iPhones, with him being one of the few engineers who has been with part of the iPhone development project since it began. – Rappler.com
