Kelley Day wins Miss Eco International national costume competition

Filipina beauty queen Kelley Day was named the winner at the national costume competition of Miss Eco International 2021, held on Friday, April 2.

The pageant is ongoing in South Sinai, Egypt.

Kelley's winning look was heavily-embroidered gown with Maria Clara panuelo designed by Louis Pangilinan. She completed the look with earrings by Christopher Munar, and shoes by Jojo Bragais.

Kelley shared a photo of her wearing the look on Instagram.

"It was such an honor to wear this beautiful creation in the National Costume Competition of Miss Eco International," she said in the caption. "Winning best national costume tonight just made me feel even MORE proud to be representing the Philippines."

She also thanked the team behind the look, including stylist Mikee Andrei, makeup artist Mila Gulfan, and hairstylist Jonas Lucas.

"This is for the Philippines!" Kelley said.

Panama's Yasmery Salceda was named first runner-up in the national costume competition, while Thailand's Juthamas Mekseree won second runner-up.
