The 34 candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2021 showed off their runway skills at the pre-pageant swimsuit presentation streamed on the pageant’s YouTube channel on Friday, June 18.
At the presentation, the candidates showed off their catwalks by the poolside of Novotel Manila Araneta City, modeling suits by Domz Ramos inspired by the Paruparo Festival.
Miss Grand International 2020 1st runner-up Samantha Mae Bernardo headlined the event, wearing elaborate butterfly wings by Jomar Peralta and a headpiece by Manny Halasan.
Also present at the event were current titleholders Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2019 Gazini Ganados, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Aya Abesamis, Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2019 Leren Bautista, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2019 Emma Tiglao, and Binibining Pilipinas International 2019 Patch Magtanong.
The pageant’s grand coronation night will take place on July 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves hosting the show.
This year, four titles are up for grabs: Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, and Binibining Pilipinas Globe.
The coronation night will be aired on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, I Want TFC, and Metro Channel, and livestreamed on YouTube.
