The top 30 candidates of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 proudly showed off their respective pageant sashes as day one of their pageant bubble began.

The top 30 were chosen out of the original 100 delegates, after a series of virtual challenges. Zambales representative Joanna Maria Rabe announced on Monday that she’s withdrawing from the competition due to dengue.

The candidates have entered the pageant bubble as a safety measure ahead of their pre-pageant activities. The preliminary question and answer portion is scheduled on September 21, while the swimsuit and evening gown competition will happen on September 23.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2021 coronation night is set for September 25. 

Reigning queen Rabiya Mateo, who finished her pageant journey in the Top 21, is set to crown her successor. The winner will represent the country in the international pageant to be held in Israel in December. – Rappler.com
