The Philippines’ Dindi Pajares has become an early stand-out at the Miss Supranational 2021, wowing judges and fans with her pre-pageant performance.

Dindi left Manila for Poland on August 4, a little over a week after she was appointed by the Miss World Philippines organization on July 24 to represent the Philippines in the pageant.

From her arrival on August 6, Dindi has been sharing on Instagram her preparations for the pageant and how much she’s enjoying Poland.

“Making incredible memories with my #SupraSisters and being able to express my love for exceptional children brings me immense joy and happiness! It’s so thrilling to see the world through their eyes,” Dindi said in one of her posts, along with a photoset of her posing with children and other Miss Supranational candidates during one of their activities.

She also uploaded a video montage of her stay in Poland, with the caption “Fall in love with MALOPOLSKA.”

Pre-pageant activities kicked off with the “Miss Elegance Competition”  on Sunday, August 15. “With true elegance, we graced the runway,” Dindi wrote in her Instagram post.

Dindi was hailed first-runner up, while Puerto Rico’s Karla Guilfi was named Miss Elegance 2021.

On Monday, August 16, Dindi announced that she was one of the 10 candidates with the most number of online votes.

“I’m glad to announce that we are currently included in the top 10 of the Supra Fan vote. Big thanks to everyone who unceasingly supports me on my journey. I really appreciate it,” she wrote.

The Philippine delegate also asked supporters to keep voting for her in the Miss Supranational app so she can secure a spot in the top 12.

Rounding out the top 10 of the Supra Fan vote were Canada, El Salvador, Iceland, Indonesia, Kenya, Peru, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Venezuela.

Dindi also said that she made it to the second round of Supra Chat, where candidates get the opportunity to answer questions from reigning Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porslid.

Dindi placed first in the seventh group. “Words can’t express how grateful I am. Thank you so much for your unfailing love and unwavering support,” she wrote.

On Tuesday, August 17, Miss Supranational announced that Dindi was included in the final 10 of the Supra Influencer challenge, another pre-pageant competition.

Dindi was included in the final 10 after consistently topping the three supra influencer challenges. She was part of the top 15 in the first challenge, and part of the top 10 of both the second and third challenges.

Dindi joined candidates from China, England, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Kenya, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela in the final 10 of Supra Influencer challenge.

On Wednesday, August 18, Dindi was a show-stopper at the Miss Supranational 2021 preliminary competition.

Dindi flaunted her curves in a yellow and blue bikini during the swimsuit segment.

She also graced the red carpet in an elegant blue number during the evening gown segment.

Dindi hopes to win the country’s second Miss Supranational crown after Mutya Daul in 2013. The Miss Supranational 2021 coronation night will happen early morning Sunday, August 22 (Saturday evening, August 21 in Poland). – Rappler.com
