Steffi Rose Aberasturi, who represents Cebu province, topped the Miss Universe Philippines runway challenge, the organization said on Sunday, August 15.
The challenge is the third since the organization announced its top 100 delegates and the first since the list was trimmed to 75.
Trailing Steffi were Pangasinan’s Maureen Christa Wroblewitz and Masbate’s Kirsten Danielle Delavin. Early fan favorites Rousanne Marie Bernos (San Juan City), Leren Mae Bautista (Laguna), Katrina Dimaranan (Taguig City), and Maria Corazon Abalos (Mandaluyong City) also topped the challenge.
It was the first time for Steffi to top a challenge in the pageant.
The top 15 for the challenge was determined by the number of votes cast via the Miss Universe Philippines app.

The Miss Universe Philippines organization earlier announced a huge change in its format for 2021. It first announced the top 100 delegates on July 19. From the 100, the list will be trimmed to the top 75 and top 50, who will need to be in Metro Manila for in-person interviews with the organization.
Only 30 women will be selected to compete in-person during the live pageant finals on September 25.
While fan votes decide who’ll make it to the top 15 of each challenge, both votes from fans and the organization itself are factored into picking which candidates move forward in the pageant.
