WATCH: How Arthur Solinap proposed to Rochelle Pangilinan

MANILA, Philippines – Actor Arthur Solinap made sure to give his fiancée, former SexBomb Girls dancer Rochelle Pangilinan, a memorable wedding engagement on Saturday, February 20.

As seen in a video posted by Nice Print Photography, Arthur, with talent manager Perry Lansingan and the staff of Nice Print, went ahead to check out the Balay Indang Resort in Cavite. (READ: Actress Rochelle Pangilinan engaged)

Arthur also documented the days leading up to the proposal. He also went to the cemetery to pay his respects to Rochelle’s late father.

The couple’s friends, including Gabby Eigenmann, Jolina Magdangal, and husband Mark Escueta – as well as Rochelle’s friends from the SexBomb Girls group – were present to witness the memorable occasion.

On the day of the proposal, when the two arrived, Arthur pretended to excuse himself to the washroom. Rochelle was asked to go to the gazebo area, where Arthur was waiting for her.

Arthur then said: “Ayokong tumanda na hindi ka kasama… Okay lang basta magkasama tayo.”

(I don’t want to grow old without you by my side… Everything’s okay, as long as we’re together.)

He then knelt before Rochelle, asking her to be his wife. Rochelle, in tears, nodded yes. After the proposal, the couple watched the fireworks from the gazebo.

On Sunday, Rochelle posted photos of the proposal on her Instagram account.

As of last night, i am engaged to the man i will spend the rest of my life with.

Rochelle became famous as a member of the dance group SexBomb Girls, which performed on Eat Bulaga. After the group disbanded, she went on to be an actress, appearing in GMA 7 shows such as Ang Lihim ni Annasandra, Carmela, Amaya, and The Half Sisters.

Arthur, who is also under GMA, was a former member of the Abztract Dancers with his cousin, Dingdong Dantes. He became famous for playing Muros, one of the guards in 2005’s Encantadia. He also appeared in show such as Atlantika, Ang Lihim ni Annasandra, Ilumina, and Legacy. – Rappler.com
