'Friends: The Reunion' wraps filming

Friends wrapped up filming for the iconic 90’s TV show's long-awaited reunion special.

The show, on their official social media accounts, shared a photo from the set on Sunday, April 11. "That’s a wrap! Could we BE any more excited?"

HBO Max, which is set to distribute the special, has yet to announce its release date.

Several photos from the shoot also circulated on Twitter over the weekend.

The cast and show creators sealed in February 2020 a deal with HBO Max to air the special episode, which features original cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwinmmer and Matt LeBlanc. All 10 seasons of the hit sitcom are on streaming platform HBO Max.

In March 2021, David, who played Ross Geller, shared in an interview on Cohen’s Radio Andy Show that the actors won’t be in character for the special, but they will “all read something." “I’ll be myself. I’ll be David. We’re not in character… we’re all ourselves, the real people,” he said.

Friends ran from 1994 to 2004, and is considered by many as among the best sitcoms of the era. It follows the story of 6 twenty-somethings navigating life and adult growing pains in New York City. - Rappler.com
