LIST: ABS-CBN’s lineup of shows for 2021

ABS-CBN unveiled its line-up for 2021 in December 2020 during the Liwanag at Ligaya Christmas special, broadcast via A2Z and its online platforms.

The lineup includes TV shows, concerts, and films for all of its platforms.

The following programs were announced as part of A2Z channel 11’s lineup:

Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series starring Jane de Leon as Narda/Darna.

Huwag Kang Mangamba, an inspirational series starring Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, and Kyle Echarri (or the Gold Squad) is scheduled to air during the first quarter of 2021. The show will be produced by Dreamscape Entertainment.

Gerald Anderson, Yam Concepcion, and JM de Guzman will headline Init sa Magdamag, produced by Star Creatives.

La Vida Lena, which is currently showing on iWantTFC, will also be shown on television. The show stars Erich Gonzales, Kit Thompson, JC de Vera, and Carlo Aquino.

Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids will also return with Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta, Ogie Alcasid, and Luis Manzano as hosts

Almost Paradise, an American show co-produced by ABS-CBN and stars American actor Christian Kane, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Raymond Bagatsing, and Sandino Martin.

For its streaming service iWantTFC, the following shows are:

• Count Your Lucky Stars, starring Jerry Yan and Shen Yue
• Tenement 66
• Horoscope, starring Charlie Dizon, Elisse Joson
• Hoy…I Love You, starring Joross Gamboa and Roxanne Guinoo
• A Tale of Thousand Stars (Thai series)
• Unloving U, starring Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte

For films, ABS-CBN began the year with the Maymay Entrata-Edward Barber film Princess Dayareese. Other films announced are:

• Hello Stranger the Movie, starring JC Alcantara and Tony Labrusca
• Love or Money, starring Coco Martin and Angelica Panganiban
• Soul Sistahs, starring Melai Cantiveros, Karla Estrada, and Jolina Magdangal
• All-Nighter
• Keys to the Heart
• Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan, starring Joshua Garcia

It was also announced that movies starring the tandems of KathNiel, LizQuen and John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo comeback are also in the works.

Star Music is also preparing for a busy year with the 11th Himig Handog songwriting competition and digital concerts featuring Regine Velasquez, Piolo Pascual, and Moira dela Torre in the lineup. – Rappler.com
