The upcoming fifth season of the hit Spanish series Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) will be its last, according to Netflix.

On Friday, July 31, the streaming platform posted on Facebook saying “Part 5: the heist comes to an end.”

According to Netflix, the new season is currently in production, and will have 10 episodes. It will see the addition of two new actors to the ensemble cast: Patrick Criado (La gran familia española) and Miguel Angel Silvestre (Sense 8).

“We have spent almost a year thinking about how to destroy the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters,” said Money Heist creator Alex Pina.

“The result is the fifth season of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season,” he said.

Money Heist is Netflix’s most-watched non-English series. It tells the story of a group of robbers who pull off elaborate bank heists masterminded by the mysterious Professor played by Alvaro Morte.

Its fourth season premiered on Netflix on April 3. – Rappler.com
