It’s the youngest Covey sister’s turn for letters and romance!

A To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before spinoff series is coming to Netflix, this time focusing on the teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey.

Titled XO, Kitty, the 10-episode comedy series will see Anna Cathcart reprising her role as Kitty, the youngest sister of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before protagonist Lara Jean (played by Lana Condor).

“I bet you thought the story was over, that there wouldn’t be any more letters. But there’s one Covey sister – some might call her the favorite – whose love story is just beginning,” Cathcart said in the video announcement released on Tuesday, October 19.

A self-proclaimed love expert, Kitty is set to learn more about romance and commitment in the upcoming series. “When she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line,” the show’s logline said, according to a Deadline report.

Further details about the project, such as the premiere date and other cast members, have yet to be revealed. Jenny Han, who wrote the books that inspired the film trilogy, will serve as a showrunner alongside Sacha Rotchild.

Starring Condor and Noah Centineo as Peter Kavinsky, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before premiered in 2018 and became one of Netflix’s most-watched original movies.  The pair’s romance began with a set of missent letters and a fake relationship that soon turned very real.

Sequels To All the Boys: PS I Still Love You and To All the Boys: Always and Forever  premiered in 2020 and 2021, respectively. – Rappler.com
