Aspirants from Misamis Oriental, Palawan join ‘Pinoy Big Brother Connect’

Another set of aspirants of Pinoy Big Brother Connect were introduced on Friday, December 4.

Crismar Menchavez, son of military parents from Palawan; and Aizyl Tandugon of Misamis Oriental were introduced on It’s Showtime and TV Patrol.

In an interview on TV Patrol, 20-year-old Aizyl shared that her late mother’s dream was for her to be on television – or join the police force.

“Gusto niya ako makita sa TV noong buhay pa siya. Tapos, gusto niya ako maging artista or maging singer. Or kung hindi papalarin, maging pulis,” she said.

(She wanted me to be on television. She wanted me to be an actress or singer. Or if I don’t get lucky, a cop.)

Aizyl, the 8th of 9 siblings, is a working student.

Crismar, 19, tried everything from being a male beauty pageant contestant, a model, and a financial adviser.

“Gina-grab ko ‘yung mga opportunity ko sa buhay. And PBB is a big stage for me to test how far my personality can go,” he said.

The toughest challenge his family went through was when their business went bankrupt in 2014. In tough situations, Crismar looks at the positive side of things.
