MANILA, Philippines – The Broken Marriage Vow, ABS-CBN’s Filipino adaptation of the British series Doctor Foster, nabbed six national awards at the 2022 Asian Academy Creative Awards.

According to a post by Dreamscape Entertainment on Friday, September 30, The Broken Marriage Vow was named Best Adaptation of an Existing Format. Lead star Jodi Sta. Maria was hailed Best Actress in a Leading Role, while Zaijian Jaranilla won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category.

The series’ other awards include Best Editing and Best Promo or Trailer. Morisette’s “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw” also won Best Theme Song.

Following the announcement, Jodi took to Twitter to express her happiness. “I believe I haven’t scratched the surface of the vision, purpose, and plan You have for me. I have only tasted a small portion and seen a tiny glimpse of the life You want to give me. I am speechless and amazed,” she said.

As the national winner in these categories, The Broken Marriage Vow will represent the Philippines at the Grand Awards ceremony in Singapore on December 7 and 8, where the regional winners will be announced.
