Recap: 'Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids' season 2, week 4
MANILA, Philippines – The competition on Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids leveled up last weekend as the contestants showcased their talent to impress the jury.
Here's how the kids performed this week:
Krystal Brimner as Britney Spears
Krystal, who won last week's challenge, transformed into Britney Spears this week and sang "Oops I Did it Again."
Jed Madela said that he was happy with Krystal's performance and that thus far, she had been consistent in everything she does. He also said that he loves the fact she can connect to the audience.
TNT Boys as Destiny's Child
The boys finally fulfilled their dream to perform as a girl group, transforming into Kelly, Beyonce, and Michelle and singing "Survivor."
Sharon Cuneta began by saying how the boys look pretty as ladies and that they did well. She also said that because of the boys' antics, she always has stories to share after the taping.
Esang de Torres as John Legend
This week, Esang got the chance to be John Legend, singing the classic hit "All of Me."
Ogie Alcasid said that whenever Esang performs, she transports to a different place and always leaves them stunned because of how she sings.
Chunsa Jung as Vilma Santos
Chunsa turned into "Star for All Seasons" Vilma Santos, and sang "Sixteen."
Nyoy Volante told Chunsa that she's always the source of their smiles on the show. He said that her nuances made it seem that Vilma Santos herself was performing.
Sheena Belarmino as Jennifer Lopez
Sheena turned herself into the pop diva, performing "On The Floor."
Jed described her performance as "fierce," because of her high energy and ability to connect to the audience and act like JLo.
Onyok Pineda as Francis Magalona
Onyok transformed into the late master rapper, singing the iconic "Ito Ang Gusto Ko."
Nyoy commended Onyok for his rapping skills,and even encouraging him to practice it because he feels the young boy has a talent for it.
Noel Comia Jr as Ed Sheeran
Noel channeled Ed, singing his song "Perfect."
Sharon began by saying that Noel is better looking than Ed Sheeran and that this was her favorite performace of his.
Marco Masa as Ricky Martin
Marco ended the night, channeling Ricky Martin and dancing to "Livin La Vida Loca."
Sharon said that she did not see Marco, but Ricky Martin during the performance.
"Pati galaw ng mata, pati yung lahat ng moves, nung choreo[graphy], tapos yung effort mo para gayahin yung voice niya kahit bata ka pa (The eye movement, the moves, the choreography, and the effort to imitate the voice, especially when you're young), I saw everything. For me, this is your best."
The TNT Boys won the week 4 challenge, getting P50,000 cash and P50,000 worth of toys for their chosen charity, House of Refuge Foundation Incorporated. – Rappler.com
