K-drama starring Lee Dong-wook, Jo Seung-woo to stream on Netflix

MANILA, Philippines – Netflix on Friday, August 3, announced it will be streaming Life, a new Korean drama starring Lee Dong-wook of Goblin fame and Jo Seung-woo, who starred in Stranger.

“The new medical drama series tell a story about the people in a hospital who want to protect and save, and also those who want to defend for what they believe is right. Sometimes like an inner body reaction, the characters in Life collide aggressively as the story progresses,” the entertainment giant  said in a press release.

Lee Dong-wook plays the part of Ye Jin-woo, one of the doctors in the hospital, while Jo Seung-woo is Koo Seung-hyo, the hospital CEO.

Netflix said the first 4 episodes of Life will be available for streaming in the Asia Pacific region (excluding Japan) and English-speaking regions (except the US) on August 4, 12 am Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Episodes 5 and 6 will then be streamed on the same days as the Korean broadcast, on August 6 and 7, at 9:30 am PST. Other territories, save for US and Japan, will be able to stream new episodes weekly, every Monday, at 9:30 am PST.

All episodes will drop in the US on September 12.
