WATCH: The full trailer of ‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’ is out

MANILA, Philippines  – The first trailer of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was released on Thursday, October 4 in the US, and we’re given more background of Adora and her friends. (LOOK: First photos of ‘She-Ra’ reboot released)

In the Dreamworks’ reboot, we see Adora and Catra training to be part of the Horde. Shadow Weaver then tells Adora that Hordak has been observing her and that she is a candidate for Force Captain.

While riding one of their ships, Adora falls and later hears a voice calling her out. She comes across a sword, and hears the voice say, “The time has come for your destiny.” Adora then finds herself transforming into She-Ra.

Unlike in the 1985 version, Adora’s life as She-Ra is known to the Great Rebellion. 

We also meet some of She-Ra’s friends and compatriots such as Glimmer and Bow, as well as the other people of Etheria.

The reboot, which was announced in May, features the voices of Sandra Oh and Aimee Carrero, among others. 

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power premieres on Netflix on November 16. – Rappler.com
