MANILA, Philippines — Eat Bulaga is coming to Myanmar soon. The noon time show, which celebrated its 40th year recently, announced on Tuesday, July 30 that an Eat Bulaga Myanmar franchise is in the works.

 

The Myanmar version is the second international franchise of the show. Indonesia secured rights to the show back in 2012 as Eat Bulaga Indonesia. The show ran for two years under SCTV and another two years under antv.

Details of the Myanmar version have yet to be announced. 

 

Eat Bulaga is the country’s longest-running noon time show and is currently aired on GMA 7. It is hosted by (now Senate President) Tito Sotto, his brother Vic, and Joey de Leon under the production team of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE), headed by Tony Tuviera.  — Rappler.com
