WATCH: He’s alive! ‘Stranger Things’ drops first season 4 teaser
'From Russia, with love,' says the caption of a 'Stranger Things' post on Twitter

MANILA, Philippines – Season 3 of Netflix’s Stranger Things ended on a bittersweet note (spoilers ahead) – with the bitter part mostly coming from Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour), the “American” who sacrificed his life to close the gate of the Upside Down.

But lo and behold – things don’t seem so bleak (ish) after all. Netflix posted a new teaser video for Stranger Things 4 on Friday, Februrary 14, providing us the closure we need (for now).

“From Russia, with love…” the caption wrote.

The 50-second clip shows a snowy Russian wasteland, filled with people and military building train tracks. And surprise, there’s clean-shaven Hopper at the end, looking (not so) well but very alive.

“We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway – and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper,” show creators the Duffer brothers said in a statement.

“Although it’s not all good news for our ‘American,’ he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other. Meanwhile, back in the States, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything,” they added.

Now who’s even more hyped?

Netflix renewed Stranger Things for a fourth season in September 2019. No premiere date has been announced yet. – Rappler.com
