Park Bo-gum, Park So-dam, and Byeon Woo-seok's newest series will stream on Netflix
MANILA, Philippines – Netflix on Monday, June 1, announced that a new South Korean series starring Park Bo-gum, Park So-dam and Byeon Woo-seok will be streamed on the platform in the latter half of the year.
Record of Youth will be directed by An Gil-ho (Stranger, Memories of Alhambra, WATCHER) and written by Ha Myeong-hee (Doctors and Temperature of Love). While the content platform has yet to announce the show's premise, Ha's track record for "heart-warming stories grounded in realistic settings" might just be where it's headed.
The show will be aired in Korea through tvN and outside Korea through Netflix.
In the series, Park Bo-gum (Encounter, Reply 1988, Love in the Moonlight) plays Sa Hye-jun, an aspiring model and actor who "juggles idealism with the reality of everyday life."
Park So-dam (Parasite, Cinderella with Four Knights) plays An Jeong-ha, an aspiring makeup artist who "follows her own path and finds security in her own unwavering resolve under external pressures."
Byeon Woo-seok (Dear My Friends, Search: WWW) plays Sa Hye-jun's bestfriend who "cannot stand being brushed off just because he was born into privilege."
