MANILA, Philippines - Thanks to the power of Kickstarter and an enthusiastic fanbase, Veronica Mars is back in business.
Deadline reports that it took only 10 hours for over 30,000 backers to raise the $2 million needed to fund a Veronica Mars movie, leaving 30 days remaining on the Kickstarter clock to increase the funding base of the film.
Warner Bros., the company that owns the rights to Veronica Mars, will reportedly be helping with distribution, marketing, publicity and legal duties via Warner Bros. Digital Distribution. - Rappler.com
