Vice Ganda endorses 8 candidates

MANILA, Philippines - Television personality Vice Ganda shared on his Twitter account on May 11 a list of senatorial candidates that he plans to vote for on Monday, May 13.

The candidates are Chiz Escudero, Risa Hontiveros, Dick Gordon, Teddy Casiño, Sonny Angara, Alan Peter Cayetano, Jun Magsaysay, and Koko Pimentel.

In a press conference for his Araneta concert earlier in May, the comedian dropped hints that he would be endorsing senatorial bets.

He said that he chose the candidates based on their credentials. In his earlier tweets, the actor-host said that his political endorsements are free.

Before the announcement, Vice Ganda already tweeted his support for Risa Hontiveros, Chiz Escudero, and Teddy Casiño.

Aside from Risa Hontiveros I will surely vote for Chiz Escudero and Teddy Casiño. Parehong may ipagmamalaking KARANASAN at KAKAYAHAN! — jose marie viceral (@vicegandako) May 11, 2013
