Startup Summit 2021: Inspiring students to step up for the future

More than a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen technology and innovation skyrocket in society’s bid to adapt. 

As technology solutions in the Philippines gain much more relevance, so do opportunities grow in number; tech startups have been popping up left and right. This opens doors for all ages, all genders, and from all walks of life. 

If you’re young and looking to learn more about the emerging startup scene, The Ateneo Building Young Tech Entrepreneurs (BYTE) organization is holding Startup Summit 2021, a tech conference from April 16 to 18, starting at 10 am. 

Startup Summit 2021 will feature online keynote sessions from various startup professionals worldwide where participants can learn about the tech startup industry. There will be digital expo booths that showcase impressive solutions and internships, as well as networking opportunities that will allow attendees to jumpstart their startup journey.

With the theme “Stepping up for the Future,” Startup Summit aims to inspire its participants to face the current challenges head-on. This year’s event features notable startups and companies such as Datacamp, Kumu, StartUp Village, IdeaSpace, Foundation Inc., QBO Innovation Hub, Notion, Technology Application and Promotion Institute (TAPI), ClinkIT Solutions, ARPACORP, Maker Academy, and many more!

“With crises rising and possibilities being challenged, we want our attendees to realize that they have the power to build a bright tomorrow and initiate positive change wherever they are,” said Startup Summit 2021 project co-head Abigail To. 

“As the next wave of entrepreneurs and industry leaders, the students of today must have the insights to cultivate change for the world we are to inherit,” Startup Summit 2021 project co-head Javi Ko added.
