Daftar nominasi dan pemenang ‘MTV Europe Music Awards 2016’

JAKARTA, Indonesia — Ajang penghargaan musik di Eropa, MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMAs) kembali hadir tahun 2016 ini.

Daftar nominasi telah dirilis pada Selasa, 27 September lalu, dan menempatkan Beyonce serta Justin Bieber sebagai penerima nominasi terbanyak dengan masing-masing lima kategori.

Sementara penyanyi Adele, grup band Coldplay, serta penyanyi muda Shawn Mendes masuk ke dalam empat kategori.

Untuk kategori artis Asia Tenggara terfavorit, Raisa terpilih sebagai perwakilan dari Indonesia, bersama dengan Bunkface (Malaysia), Đông Nhi (Vietnam), Gentle Bones (Singapore), Sarah Geronimo (Philippines), Thaitanium (Thailand), dan Yuna (Malaysia).

Sayang, Raisa gagal membawa pulang piala MTV EMAstahun ini. Penghargaan untuk kategori artis Asia Tenggara terbaik tahun ini diberikan kepada Đông Nhi dari Vietnam.

Sebelumnya, para penggemar membantu idolanya mendapatkan penghargaan dengan cara mengikuti voting di situs mtvema.com.

Malam puncak penganugerahan MTV EMAs 2016 diselenggarakan di Rotterdam, Belanda, pada Minggu, 6 November (Senin, 7 November pagi waktu Indonesia).
