Dr Pimple Popper’s ‘Pimple Pete’: The game you didn’t know you needed

MANILA, Philippines – You’ve surely seen them on your Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or even Twitter feeds – self-gratuitous videos of pimples being popped, blackheads being extracted, and a seemingly bottomless reservoir of pus being drained. Welcome to the world of “popaholics” as led by Dr Pimple Popper herself, dermatologist Sandra Lee.

If, for some reason, you’ve been dying to do the pimple popping yourself but don’t have a degree to back up your extraction fantasies, here’s some good news for you: Sandra Lee has apparently collaborated with Spin Master, a Canadian toy company, to create a “Pimple Pete” board game. 

According to Refinery29, the goal of the game is to “gently extract pull-able gummy pimples from Pete’s face.” But do it wrong, and a zit on his note “explodes” to spray your face with – what else – “pus water.”

The game won’t be hitting shelves until August but because the internet is a gift that keeps on giving, there’s a YouTube video that demos just how the toy works.
