Miss World PH Hillarie Parungao in Top 10 of final

MANILA, Philippines – Miss Philippines representative Hillarie Parungao is among the Top 10 contestants who made it to the semifinal.

Hillarie also won the Multimedia challenge, a new challenge in the Miss World Pageant. The winner of this challenge has a holistic understanding of all forms of media, and can gather support for her cause by connecting to her fanbase. 

Meanwhile, Miss Vietnam won the People’s Choice award, automatically granting her a chance to compete in the final part of the competition, even though she didn’t make it to the judges’ Top 10. 

The pageant was held at the Beauty Crown Grand Theatre in Sanya, China on Saturday, December 19.

The event was hosted by Miss World 2013 Megan Young, Access Hollywood presenter Tim Vincent, and TV host Angela Chow.
