MANILA, Philippines – Cosmetics giant MAC and footwear brand Puma recently announced a collaboration that will see Puma’s trademark suede shoes in 3 colors reminiscent of your favorite lipstick shades.
Teen Vogue reports that the newest line, released in honor of Puma’s suede sneakers’ 50th anniversary, features shades inspired by MAC’s “Lady Danger,” “Sin,” and “Crème D’Nude.”
Quoting a press release, Teen Vogue said “Lady Danger” comes in bright red-orange, “Sin” is a burgundy shoe, while “Crème d’Nude” is a “posh peachy blush” sneaker wth coral laces. A rose-gold #PUMAxMAC logo sticker is displayed prominently on each shoe.
The shoes don’t come with the lipsticks, however. They are also special-edition, and will be available May 15 in the United States through the Puma website and shoe stores. Vogue reports they will retail for *$90 (P4,699.95). No word yet if it will be sold locally in the Philippines. – Rappler.com
