Roses are red, violets are blue, these poems are bad, can you do one too?
MANILA, Philippines – On Saturday, August 18, social media was inundated with terrible rhymes and hilarious verses. The annual #BadPoetryDay brought out the poor man’s Balagtas in many of us, and the results were equal parts cringeworthy and strangely brilliant.
Rappler challenged readers to come up with their own bad poems, and here are some of the tweets and Facebook comments that raised our eyebrows:
