Remember the old ad? It's resurfacing with a new twist on YouTube

MANILA, Philippines – Maybe you weren’t around when Coca-Cola’s “Hilltop” ad first came out in 1971.

But the phrase “I’d like to buy the world a Coke,” with its highly hummable tune, helped define a young advertising industry. The ad itself crossed cultural boundaries and taught the world to sing.

This week, a re-imagining of the ad, presented by Google and featuring Harvey Gabor, the original ad’s creative director, surfaced on YouTube.
