Go K-razy over Korea at the K-Street Festival in BGC

It’s no doubt that Korean culture has infiltrated the Philippines in many ways – from our love for K-pop, samgyeopsal, K-dramas, and K-beauty – so it comes as no surprise that a K-Street festival in Bonifacio Global City is happening for the K-obsessed on Friday, May 31 to Monday, June 1. Samgyeopsalamat!

K-popping into Bonifacio High Street’s C1 Park is the first leg of Summer on the Street’s Korean festival from Friday to Sunday, while the second leg is happening at the BGC Amphitheather from Sunday to Monday.

How will Korea’s rich culture be spread out during the festival? Here are the 7 exciting zones guests can expect:

K-pop zone

In collab with the Philippine K-Pop Convention (PKCI), K-pop merchandise will be available at the K-pop zone, along with games, freebies, and of course – live music!

Also part of the zone is the K-drama area, where favorite Korean-kilig shows will be streamed via Netflix and VIU for anyone to enjoy.

K-food zone

Are we ready to eat? Samgyup!  

Authentic Korean food (kimchi, bibimbap, kalbi-jim) will be served fresh by street food vendors and kiosks at the area, so get those appetites ready for this stopover. 

K-tour zone

If your heart and seoul are both yearning to explore the wonderful country of Korea, the k-tour zone will heed your call. Here you can find various tours and travel options available for your dream vacation, specially curated by the Korea Tourism Organization. 

K-fashion and beauty zone

Thanks to the Hanbok Palace, guests can get the chance to don Korea’s traditional hanbok and take selfies. Just say kim-cheese!

K-tech Zone

Games and tours can be experienced via exhilirating Virtual Reality treatment, care of Samsung. 

K-sport zone

Traditional Korean performances and sports will be showcased and held here for guests to try out themselves.
