MANILA, Philippines – A lot of Instagram-worthy (both good and bad) things happened this week and we’ve rounded them up for you. Here’s what happened this week, in photos:
1. On Sunday, June 23, 2013, our online community sent us these photos as this year’s largest full moon lit up the night sky. View the gallery here.
2. Remember the oil spill that contaminated Pasig river over the weekend last week?
3. On Friday, June 28, Albay attempted to break a world record by gathering more than 13,000 people to form a giant “No Smoking” sign.
4. On Wednesday, June 26, the US Supreme Court ruled that the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which defines marriage as between a man and a woman, is unconstitutional. People online celebrated left and right. Here are some photos that made rounds on social media:
The San Francisco International Airport lights up, literally.
Who could forget the now-famous Instagram kiss of it-girls and cousins Isabelle Daza and Georgina Wilson?
Coincidentally, the day after the decision was made, the UP community celebrated pride month with a pride march.
