MANILA, Philippines – A number of Filipinos on Twitter are feeling nostalgic again.
Using #HighSchoolMemories, they exchanged stories and photos from their high school days, which pushed the hashtag to be the number 1 trending topic for almost the whole of Friday, January 17.

The routine was simple: You woke up early every day to attend class only to wait for the bell to ring after 8-9 hours so you could hang around (if you were popular), or go home (if you were a loner or if your parents were super strict).
But what was not routine were the crazy and unique things you experienced day to day: from flopping or excelling in the graded recitation to trying to talk to your crush or even being the crush yourself.
It could have been the happiest or the worst moment of one’s life, but it’s true – whatever we may have gone through made us who we are today.
