MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines’ bet, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014 Tourism International Glennifer Perido won 2nd runner-up or the title of Miss Tourism Metropolitan at the Miss Tourism International 2014-2015 coronation held last December 31 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She returned home recently from her victory.
Venezuela’s Faddya Isabel Troisi won this year’s Miss Tourism International title. She was crowned by Miss Tourism International 2013-2014 Angeli Dionne Gomez of the Philippines.
The other winners were Thailand as Miss Queen of the Year, Netherlands as Miss Tourism Global International, and China as Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International.
Mutya ng Pilipinas congratulated Glennifer for her placement in the pageant.
“Congratulations to our Ms. Philippines, Glennifer Perido the newly crowned Miss Tourism International Metropolitan 2014-2015. Mabuhay!!!” the pageant posted on their Facebook account.
Glennifer arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport terminal 3 Saturday, January 3.
Held every New Year’s Eve, the Miss Tourism International is a pageant based in Malaysia, which aims to promote tourism as well as cultural exchange among the participating candidates. – Rappler.com
