Christmas is coming early for fans of the comic book/Netflix series Trese.

A Funko Pop of the series’ main character Alexandra Trese will be available at collectibles store Filbar’s on November 27. The Funko Pop will come in two versions: a colored figurine, and a limited edition black and white Chase variant.

“Early on, a lot of fans started to make their own custom Trese Pop! figures. It’s great to finally have the official figure which will provide protection from Aswang… well, maybe it will,” Trese writer and co-creator Budjette Tan said in a Filbar’s Facebook post.

“This is for the fans who have always wished for their own’ little Trese figure. May it constantly remind them of the magic of the comics,” said artist and co-creator Kajo Baldisimo.

Trese was first released in 2005 as a comics series. It follows the story of Alexandra Trese, an investigator specializing in crimes that involve supernatural beings.

A Netflix series with Liza Soberano and Shay Mitchell voicing Trese premiered in 2021.

The Trese Funko Pop will be available at Filbar’s stores and its website for P800. – Rappler.com
