The 2021 edition will feature 60 exhibitors

Art in the Park is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2021, continuing its online edition over 8 days, with 60 exhibitors and over 6,000 works by Filipino artists.

The affordable art fair first went online in August 2020, after it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. As in previous years, the 2021 edition will cap prices of the artworks at P50,000.

The fair will benefit the Museum Foundation of the Philippines, supporting their projects and programs for the National Museum network.

Art in the Park 2021 will also feature educational events that will be available on the fair’s social media pages. Events include a kids’ tutorial by award-winning comic artist and illustrator Jomike Tejido, as well as video features on the creative process of artists Henrielle Pagkaliwanagan and Yvonne Quisimbing.

The fair will also feature BPI Art Clips – a collaboration with Bank of the Philippine Islands – a mini-documentary focusing on one of the fair’s most popular categories, pottery. The videos will showcase the work of Philippine pottery pioneers Jon and Tessy Pettyjohn, and Joey de Castro.

80s band Overdrive will also be performing a set online on February 27.
