WATCH: This Bench ad shows a father’s true love for his son

MANILA, Philippines –  Bench is back with another pro-LGBT campaign, 3 years after its “Love all kinds of love” campaign that made headlines for obscuring the hands of couple Vince Uy and Nino Gaddi on a billboard. (READ: #PaintTheirHandsBack: How a hashtag saved all kinds of love)

This year, their pro-LGBT ad has sparked decidedly less backlash so far: focusing instead on the relationship between a father and his gay son who has yet to come out to him.

The ad shows the double life led by the gay son, marked by campus flirtations with the school hottie and filled with clouds of Bench perfume, of course. It ends on an expected but still touching note, with the father revealing to the son that he has known his secret all along.
